Camera Angles

DOWN THE LINE:
The down-the-line camera angle is great way to to check things like address position, swing plane, sequencing, turn, etc… When filming from down-the-line position your camera will be facing the target, and it is important to ensure a couple key characteristics before hitting record! 

• Make sure that the camera is exactly hand height and level. 
• Take your setup and drop a club or alignment stick on the ground directly underneath your hands parallel to your target line. This line is where your camera should be placed on a tripod.
• Make sure the camera captures your entire swing arc and that your body is centered in the shot.

FACE ON VIEW:
The face on camera angle is a great way to see the address position, hip and shoulder turn, lateral movements, wrist hinge, swing length, sequencing, etc… Just like the down-the-line camera angle there are some checkpoints to ensure you are capturing the right image.

• The camera needs to be at exactly hand height and level.
• Take your setup and from the ball, place a club or alignment stick perpendicular to your target line between your legs. Your camera should be set up inline with the club or alignment stick.
• Make sure the camera captures your entire swing arc and that your body is centered in the shot.
